Swings
This is where I'm keeping my swing trading calls and updates. This section is focussed on large-cap North-American stocks. I'm planning to expand into commodities, the foreign exchange, European stocks and Asian stocks in separate areas in the future.
Calls are only valid for a single trading day and are emitted either at the end of the preceding day, or on occasion, by 9:00am Eastern Time on the same day. The calls are void if the stock gaps near or through them. Scaling in and out is beyond the scope of these calls, however pivots and trend lines are used to update stoploss and profit exit points daily.
Note about front running: I am disclosing my calls outside of market hours, usually with a visual chart showing the pivot I'm looking to see broken before I enter. I also follow up every call which triggered an entry with stoploss and final exit calls. Last but far from least: unless I had millions of readers, how could I front run my trades if I limit them to large-cap stocks?
And of course: I'm not an investment advisor. Do your own homework.
Analysis for 2008/08/18
Going weekly for now until I'm here full time. Volume is low and I'm also partly on vacation, so I'll concentrate on AMZN and GS this week. AAPL is still not establishing a new trend and QCOM is, well, QCOM... I'm considering shifting my attention from QCOM to RIMM for my fourth.
Analysis for 2008/08/08
First report in a long while. I'm focussing on AAPL, AMZN, GS and QCOM at the moment. I will increase my horizon as I get comfortable with the process.

This is a test entry to settle on a format for the updates. Information here is factual but out of date, taken from my e-mail archive.
In this introduction, I'd summarize the market's behavior since my last post and highlight what to look for ahead.
