Allright, everyone I know already heard the story, but nobody saw the pictures. Here's a blurry glimpse of what happened this morning. I am ordering a memory stick for using my MiniDV camera to take pictures instead of the Palm, so very soon the quality will improve. In the mean time, here's today...

I hesitated between the BionX and Cervelo today, and finally went for the comfort and security of the BionX: it's heavy, but the first gear is adequate and there's always the motor if I overestimated my capabilities. (Note: you'll need Flash in order to view the map.)

Well, despite unusual heat and humidity, I went for it again. This time, I thought, my big advantage would be to avoid unpaved roads at all costs. Oh boy, that idea got expensive...

Another Bike Ride

Today, I'm going for 100 km, with 75 km as a backup target if wind causes problems. Hills are enough of a challenge as it is. The bike with electric assist* weighs as much as a speed bike and 35 lbs of luggage, s these rides are good tests for next year's travelling.
